I started riding when I was 4 years old, and equestrian sports have been a central part of my life ever since. I dedicate a significant amount of time to training, riding my horses 6 times a week for at least 2 hours each day, and often spending entire days at the stable. I take full responsibility for the care of my 4 horses, including grooming, showering, and exercising them daily. Despite the demands of this responsibility, my passion for the sport makes it all worthwhile. Through years of intense training, I have achieved significant success in competitions, winning numerous gold medals in local and national jumping shows. In 2023, I earned 3rd place in the China National Equestrian Youth U16 Championship, and in 2024, I competed in FEI international shows, where I won twice in the international 120cm individual competitions.
In addition to my personal achievements, I am the captain of the equestrian team, leading my teammates in Show Jumping Team competitions. As captain, I play an active role in daily training, assisting the coach as a training assistant and translator, helping to guide my team. During competitions, I lead my team in analyzing our opponents' strengths, developing strategies based on the jumping courses, and supporting each team member throughout the event. Even though our team consists of all girls under 16, and I am the youngest, we consistently perform at a high level, achieving excellent results in competitions against professional athletes.
One of my greatest joys has been seeing the progress I’ve made with my horse, Jannelein. When she arrived in China four years ago, she was only six years old, with minimal training and limited competition experience. Her jumping capability was rated at just 1 meter by the KWPN, and many doubted she could become a competitive jumping horse. However, through years of hard work and dedication, Jannelein and I have achieved significant success, now competing and winning medals in 1.30-meter jumping shows, the highest level allowed by the FEI for young athletes under 14
