Besides academics and equestrian, I have a variety of interests, including ceramics, visual arts, theater, and video editing. I also stay active with sports like snowboarding, swimming, and tennis, enjoying the balance of different activities.
Other Hobbies
Snowboarding and other sports
I started snowboarding training at the age of 7 when I visited Hokkaido with my family, and that trip sparked my love for the sport. Since then, I’ve made snowboarding a regular part of my winter routine. I have a coach for snowboarding training, but not for competition—my focus is on improving my snowboarding technique. I enjoy carving to gain speed and love exploring the backcountry, drifting through snow-covered forests. Snowboarding allows me to connect with nature and embrace the adventure of each winter. In addition, I attend swimming and badminton training once a week and am a member of the swimming club, staying active and focused on my fitness.
Jazz Band
I have been a member of the Dulwich College Beijing Jazz Band since 2020, where I play the trombone. This experience has not only helped me enhance my musical abilities but has also allowed me to form meaningful friendships through collaboration and teamwork. I’ve been honored with two nominations: one for Most Talented Musician in the band and another for Most Committed Musician across all musical programs. In addition, I actively participate in various school performances, including the Winter and Spring concerts, where I enjoy contributing to our vibrant musical community.
Besides equestrian, I have a passion for ceramics, creating useful items like bowls, vases, and cups, and enjoy using my handmade kitchenware at home. I also love sketching and drawing, taking great pride in my artwork. Additionally, I enjoy writing scripts for theatrical performances, bringing stories to life on stage, and editing videos to create engaging content.
